I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with Abu Bakr, and with Umar, and none of them recited "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" [Fatihah 1:1] aloud.
حدثنا الأحوص بن جواب حدثنا عمار بن رزيق عن الأعمش عن شعبة عن ثابت
صليت مع رسول الله ﷺ ومع أبي بكر ومع عمر فلم يجهروا ب {بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم}
Its isnad is sahih. Ahwas bin Jawwab is truthful, and his hadith appears in Muslim. Ammar bin Zurayq Dabbi Tamimi is trustworthy. The hadith has already appeared at 12746.
