The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was of a brownish complexion, and I never smelled any musk or ambergris more fragrant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
حدثنا خلف بن الوليد قال أخبرنا خالد عن حميد
كان رسول الله ﷺ أسمر ولم أشم مسكة ولا عنبرة أطيب ريحا من رسول الله ﷺ
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Khalaf bin Walid was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Main, Abu Zura, and Abu Hatim, as we have already noted. Khalid is Ibn Abdullah bin Yazid al-Tahhan, the trustworthy and reliable narrator.
