Anas bin Malik reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution with a makkuk and bathe with five makakis.

Its isnad is sahih. It has already appeared at 
12779. Something similar to it, with this same wording, is found in Tirmidhi 2/8, no. 609, in the chapter on Tuhur (Purification), on what suffices of water, where he indicated its soundness, and in Bayhaqi 1/194.
