Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking until he reached the mosque, or somewhere near it, when an old man, or a man, came to him and asked, "When is the Hour, Messenger of Allah?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "What have you prepared for it?"The man said, "By the One who sent you with the truth as a Prophet, I have not prepared much for it in the way of prayer or fasting, but I love Allah and His Messenger."He said, "You will be with those you love."

حدثنا أسود بن عامر حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن منصور عن سالم بن أبي الجعد

عن أنس قال

أقبل رسول الله ﷺ يمشي حتى انتهى إلى المسجد أو قريبا منه أتاه شيخ أو رجل فقال متى الساعة يا رسول الله قال رسول الله ﷺ وما أعددت لها قال الرجل والذي بعثك بالحق نبيا ما أعددت لها من كثير عمل صلاة ولا صيام ولكني أحب الله ورسوله قال أنت مع من أحببت
