Anas bin Malik reported,

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shaved his head at Mina, he took the right side of his hair in his hand, and when he finished, he handed it to me and said, "Anas, take this to Umm Sulaym."When the people saw the special favor he had shown her with that, they competed for the other side, this one taking a strand and that one taking a strand.Muhammad said, I related this to Ubayda al-Salmani, and he said, "For me to possess a single hair of his would be more beloved to me than every piece of gold and silver on the face of the earth and within it."
