He asked Anas bin Malik, while they were both going out to Arafah, "What did you used to do on this day with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"Anas replied, "Some of us would call out the talbiyah and no one objected to him, and others would call out the takbir and no one objected to him."
حدثنا أبو سلمة أخبرنا مالك
أنه سأل أنس بن مالك وهما غاديان إلى عرفة كيف كنتم تصنعون في هذا اليوم مع رسول الله ﷺ قال كان يهل المهل منا فلا ينكر عليه ويكبر المكبر ولا ينكر عليه
