The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My intercession is for those of my nation who commit major sins."
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب حدثنا بسطام بن حريث عن أشعث الحراني
قال رسول الله ﷺ شفاعتي لأهل الكبائر من أمتي
Its isnad is sahih. Ashath Haddani is Ibn Abdullah bin Jabir, and Bistam bin Harith is Abu Yahya, and both are trustworthy. The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, 4/236, no. 4739, in the chapter on Sunnah, Intercession, and Tirmidhi, 4/625, no. 2436, who said, hasan gharib, and Ibn Majah, 2/1441, no. 4310.
