Ukaydir of Dumah sent a gift to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ consisting of a robe of fine silk, or perhaps brocade (Saeed was uncertain which), before silk had been forbidden. The Prophet ﷺ put it on, and the people marveled at it.He said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the handkerchiefs of Saad bin Muaz in Paradise are finer than this."
