Anas bin Malik reported,

The Prophet ﷺ gave Aqra bin Habis a hundred camels from the spoils of Hunayn, and gave Uyayna bin Hisn a hundred camels as well. Some men from the Ansar said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ is giving our spoils to people whose swords still drip with our blood, or whose blood still drips from our swords."Word of this reached him, so he summoned the Ansar and asked, "Is there anyone among you who is not one of you?"They replied, "No one, except a nephew of ours."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The nephew of a people is one of them. Did you say such and such? Are you not pleased that the people should depart with worldly goods while you depart with Muhammad to your homes?"They said, "Yes indeed, Messenger of Allah."He said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if the people were to travel through one valley or mountain pass, and the Ansar through another, I would travel through the valley or mountain pass of the Ansar. The Ansar are my inner circle and my closest confidants. Were it not for the migration, I would have been a man from the Ansar."

حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا حميد

عن أنس قال

أعطى النبي ﷺ من غنائم حنين الأقرع بن حابس مائة من الإبل وعيينة بن حصن مائة من الإبل فقال ناس من الأنصار يعطي رسول الله ﷺ غنائمنا ناسا تقطر سيوفهم من دمائنا أو تقطر سيوفنا من دمائهم فبلغه ذلك فأرسل إلى الأنصار فقال هل فيكم من غيركم قالوا لا إلا ابن أخت لنا فقال رسول الله ﷺ ابن أخت القوم منهم أقلتم كذا وكذا أما ترضون أن يذهب الناس بالدنيا وتذهبون بمحمد إلى دياركم قالوا بلى يا رسول الله قال والذي نفسي بيده لو أخذ الناس واديا أو شعبا أخذت وادي الأنصار أو شعبهم الأنصار كرشي وعيبتي ولولا الهجرة لكنت امرأ من الأنصار
