The Prophet ﷺ came to Umm Sulaym, and she brought him butter and dates. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Put your butter back in its skin and your dates back in their container, for I am fasting."Then he stood and prayed in a corner of the house, and we prayed along with him. Afterwards he supplicated for Umm Sulaym and her family.Then Umm Sulaym said, "Messenger of Allah, I have a small request of my own."He asked, "What is it?"She said, "Anas."She said that on that day he left out no good thing of the Hereafter or of this world without praying for it for him, including his words, "O Allah, grant him wealth and children, and bless him in them."Anas said, "My daughter told me that more than one hundred and twenty of my own offspring have already been buried, and I am among the wealthiest of the Ansar."
حدثنا عبيدة بن حميد عن حميد
جاء النبي ﷺ إلى أم سليم فقربت إليه سمنا وتمرا فقال النبي ﷺ أعيدوا سمنكم في سقائكم وتمركم في وعائكم فإني صائم ثم قام فصلى في ناحية البيت فصلينا بصلاته ثم دعا لأم سليم وأهلها ثم قالت أم سليم يا رسول الله إن لي خويصة قال وما هي قالت أنس قال فما ترك يومئذ من خير آخرة ولا دنيا إلا دعا به من قوله اللهم ارزقه مالا وولدا وبارك له فيهم قال فقال أنس حدثتني ابنتي أنه دفن من صلبي عشرون ومائة ونيف وإني لمن أكثر الأنصار مالا
