The Prophet ﷺ gave from the spoils of Hunayn to Uyayna, Aqra, and others. The Ansar said, "Does he give our spoils to people whose blood still drips from our swords, or whose swords still drip with our blood?"This reached the Prophet ﷺ, so he summoned the Ansar and said, "People of the Ansar, are you not pleased that the people take the worldly goods while you take Muhammad with you to your homes?"They replied, "Of course, Messenger of Allah."He said, "By the One in whose hand is Muhammad's soul, if the people were to travel down one valley and the Ansar down another, I would travel down the valley of the Ansar. The Ansar are my inner circle, my closest confidants. Were it not for the migration, I would be a man from the Ansar."
حدثنا عبيدة بن حميد عن حميد
أعطى النبي ﷺ من غنائم حنين عيينة والأقرع وغيرهما فقالت الأنصار أيعطي غنائمنا من تقطر سيوفنا من دمائهم أو تقطر دماؤهم من سيوفنا فبلغ ذلك النبي ﷺ فدعا الأنصار فقال يا معشر الأنصار أما ترضون أن يذهب الناس بالدنيا وتذهبون بمحمد إلى دياركم قالوا بلى يا رسول الله قال والذي نفس محمد بيده لو سلك الناس واديا وسلكت الأنصار شعبا لسلكت شعب الأنصار الأنصار كرشي وعيبتي ولولا الهجرة لكنت امرأ من الأنصار
