A young Jewish boy used to prepare the Prophet's ﷺ water for wudu and hand him his sandals. The boy fell ill, so the Prophet ﷺ went to visit him and entered while the boy's father sat by his head.The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "So-and-so, say there is no god but Allah."The boy looked at his father, and his father said nothing. The Prophet ﷺ repeated the words to him, and again the boy looked toward his father.This time his father said, "Obey Abu Qasim."So the boy said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that you are the Messenger of Allah."The Prophet ﷺ then left, saying, "Praise be to Allah, who has delivered him from the Fire through me."
