A young Jewish boy used to prepare the water for the Prophet's ﷺ ablution and bring him his sandals. He fell ill, so the Prophet ﷺ went to visit him and entered the room while the boy's father was sitting by his head. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "So-and-so, say there is no god but Allah."The boy looked at his father, but his father remained silent. The Prophet ﷺ repeated the words to him, and again the boy looked at his father. His father said, "Obey Abu Qasim."The boy said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that you are the Messenger of Allah."The Prophet ﷺ then left, saying, "Praise be to Allah, who has saved him from the Fire through me."
