The Prophet ﷺ loved gourd. Whenever broth containing gourd was brought to him, the gourd would be placed on the side closest to him.
حدثنا مؤمل حدثنا حماد عن ثابت وحميد
كان النبي ﷺ يعجبه القرع فكان إذا جيء بمرقة فيها قرع جعلت القرع مما يليه
