Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has promised me that He will admit four hundred thousand of my ummah into Paradise."Abu Bakr said, "Give us more, Messenger of Allah."He said, "And like this," and he gathered his palm.Abu Bakr said, "Give us more, Messenger of Allah."He said, "And like this."Umar said, "That is enough for you, Abu Bakr."Abu Bakr replied, "Leave me alone, Umar. What harm is it to you if Allah admits us all into Paradise?"Umar said, "If Allah wills, He can admit all of His creation into Paradise with a single handful."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Umar has spoken the truth."

حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن قتادة عن أنس أو عن النضر بن أنس

عن أنس قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله عز وجل وعدني أن يدخل الجنة من أمتي أربع مائة ألف فقال أبو بكر زدنا يا رسول الله قال وهكذا وجمع كفه قال زدنا يا رسول الله قال وهكذا فقال عمر حسبك يا أبا بكر فقال أبو بكر دعني يا عمر ما عليك أن يدخلنا الله عز وجل الجنة كلنا فقال عمر إن الله عز وجل إن شاء أدخل خلقه الجنة بكف واحد فقال النبي ﷺ صدق عمر
