The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Mount Uhud come into view and said, "This is a mountain that loves us and we love it. O Allah, Ibrahim declared Makkah sacred, and I declare sacred what lies between the two lava fields of Madinah."
حدثنا إسحاق حدثني مالك عن عمرو مولى المطلب
أن رسول الله ﷺ طلع له أحد فقال هذا جبل يحبنا ونحبه اللهم إن إبراهيم حرم مكة وإني أحرم ما بين لابتيها
Its isnad is sahih. Amr, the freed slave of Muttalib, is Amr bin Abu Amr, and Abu Amr's name was Maysara. The hadith has already appeared at 12361.
