We came to visit Anas bin Malik after the noon prayer, and he stood up to perform the afternoon prayer. When he finished his prayer, we discussed praying early, and he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'That is the prayer of the hypocrites, that is the prayer of the hypocrites, that is the prayer of the hypocrites. One of them sits until, when the sun has turned yellow and is between the two horns of Satan, he stands up and pecks out four units, scarcely remembering Allah in them at all.'"
حدثنا إسحاق بن عيسى قال أخبرني مالك
دخلنا على أنس بن مالك بعد الظهر فقام يصلي العصر فلما فرغ من صلاته تذاكرنا تعجيل الصلاة فقال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول تلك صلاة المنافقين ثلاث مرات يجلس أحدهم حتى إذا اصفرت الشمس وكانت بين قرني شيطان قام نقر أربعا لا يذكر الله فيها إلا قليلا
