The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer at the house of Umm Sulaym on an old mat that had become discolored from age. He said, "I sprinkled it with water," and he prostrated upon it.

صلى بنا رسول الله ﷺ في بيت أم سليم على حصير قديم قد تغير من القدم قال ونضحته من ماء فسجد عليه
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Saeed is the freed slave of Banu Hashim, Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Ubayd, mentioned previously in the preceding hadith, and Abdul-Aziz is the one known as Ibn Majishun, the jurist. The hadith was mentioned previously at 12269.
