The Prophet ﷺ used to perform the Friday prayer when the sun began to decline. When he set out for Makkah, he would pray Zuhr at Shajarah, two rakahs.
حدثنا أبو عامر حدثنا فليح حدثني عثمان بن عبد الرحمن بن عثمان التيمي أن
أن النبي ﷺ كان يصلي الجمعة حين تميل الشمس وكان إذا خرج إلى مكة صلى الظهر بالشجرة سجدتين
Its isnad is hasan, on account of Fulayh. The hadith is found in Bukhari 2/8, in the chapter on Jumuah, on the time of Jumuah, and in Muslim 2/588, in the chapter on the Jumuah prayer when the sun has passed its zenith, and in Abu Dawud 1/284, number 1084, similar to Bukhari, and in Tirmidhi 2/377, number 503, similar to them, where he said, hasan sahih.
