The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Abu Talha during the Battle of Khaybar to announce, "Allah and His Messenger forbid you from eating the meat of domestic donkeys, for it is impure." So the cooking pots were overturned.
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا هشام عن محمد ابن سيرين
أمر رسول الله ﷺ أبا طلحة في غزوة خيبر ينادي إن الله ورسوله ينهيانكم عن لحوم الحمر الأهلية فإنها رجس قال فأكفئت القدور
Its isnad is sahih, and it has already been mentioned. It is found in Bukhari 5/121, no. 2477 Fath, in the book of Injustices, chapter on whether the jars containing wine should be broken, and in Ibn Majah 2/1066, no. 3195, in the book of Sacrificial Animals, chapter on the meat of donkeys.
