The Prophet ﷺ was cupped on the two veins at the sides of the neck and on the upper back between the shoulders.
حدثنا وكيع عن جرير بن حازم عن قتادة
أن النبي ﷺ احتجم على الأخدعين وعلى الكاهل
Its isnad is sahih. The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud 4/4, no. 3859, in the Book of Medicine, on the site of cupping, and Tirmidhi 4/390, no. 2051, similarly, and he said, hasan gharib, and Ibn Majah 2/1152, no. 3483.
