Abu Wadi reported,

Abu Wadi reported, I was present with Ali when the people of Nahrawan were killed. He said, "Search for the maimed one among the slain."They said, "We have not found him."He said, "Search for him. By Allah, I have not lied, nor have I been lied to."They kept searching until they pulled him out from beneath the slain. Abu Wadi said, "It is as if I am looking at him now, an Abyssinian, with one of his hands like the breast of a woman, on it hairs like the tail of a jerboa."

عن أبي الوضيء قال

شهدت عليا رضي الله عنه حين قتل أهل النهروان قال التمسوا المخدج في القتلى قالوا لم نجده قال اطلبوه فوالله ما كذبت ولا كذبت حتى استخرجوه من تحت القتلى قال أبو الوضيء فكأني أنظر إليه حبشي إحدى يديه مثل ثدي المرأة عليها شعرات مثل ذنب اليربوع
