Naeem bin Dajaja reported,
I was with Ali 
when Abu Masud came in to see him. Ali said to him, "Faruq, are you the one who claims that a hundred years will not pass while there remains on earth a single eye that blinks? You have missed the mark. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only said that a hundred years will not pass, while there remains on earth a single eye that blinks, of those who are alive today. The relief and ease of this community will come only after the hundred years."

Sahihحدثنا عبد الله حدثني أبو خيثمة زهير بن حرب وسفيان بن وكيع بن الجراح قالا حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن المنهال بن عمرو
عن نعيم بن دجاجة الأسدي قال
كنت عند علي رضي الله عنه فدخل عليه أبو مسعود فقال له يا فروخ أنت القائل لا يأتي على الناس مائة سنة وعلى الأرض عين تطرف أخطت استك الحفرة إنما قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يأتي على الناس مائة سنة وعلى الأرض عين تطرف ممن هو اليوم حي وإنما رخاء هذه وفرجها بعد المائة
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It is a longer version of 718. Abu Masud Ansari Badri, his name was Uqbah bin Amr, as mentioned previously in 714. So Ali's saying to him here, "O Faruq," is not addressing him by his actual name. Perhaps he said it to him as a way of implying that he had not understood the words of the Messenger of Allah, because they said that Faruq is the ancestor of the non-Arabs who live in the middle of the lands, and that he was a son of Ibrahim and a brother of Ishaq and Ismail, peace be upon them.
