The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever bathes on Friday, brushes his teeth, applies perfume if he has any, puts on his finest clothes, then goes out to the mosque without stepping over people's necks, prays as many voluntary units as he wishes, then listens attentively when the imam comes out and does not speak until he finishes his prayer, it will be an expiation for what is between it and the previous Friday."Abu Hurairah used to add, "And three days more, for Allah has made each good deed worth ten of its like."
حدثنا يعقوب حدثنا أبي عن محمد بن إسحاق حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن الحارث التيمي عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف وأبي أمامة بن سهل بن حنيف
قال رسول الله ﷺ من اغتسل يوم الجمعة واستاك ومس من طيب إن كان عنده ولبس من أحسن ثيابه ثم خرج حتى يأتي المسجد فلم يتخط رقاب الناس ثم ركع ما شاء أن يركع ثم أنصت إذا خرج الإمام فلم يتكلم حتى يفرغ من صلاته كانت كفارة لما بينها وبين الجمعة التي قبلها قال وكان أبو هريرة يقول وثلاثة أيام زيادة إن الله جعل الحسنة بعشر أمثالها
