The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the verse "On the day when some of the signs of your Lord come, no soul will benefit from its faith" [Anam 6:158], "It refers to the rising of the sun from its place of setting."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا ابن أبي ليلى عن عطية العوفي
عن النبي ﷺ {يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها} قال طلوع الشمس من مغربها
Its isnad is hasan, because of Awfi and Ibn Abu Layla, who is Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman, a trustworthy narrator. Haythami said about the hadith in 7/22, "Its narrators are trustworthy," and something similar is found in Tirmidhi 5/264, number 3071, in the tafsir of Surah Anam, where he said, "Hasan gharib."
