Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said while he was on the pulpit, "What I fear most for you is what Allah brings forth from the vegetation of the earth and the splendor of this world."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, can good bring about evil?"He remained silent until we thought revelation was descending upon him. He was overcome by heavy breathing and began to sweat. Then he asked, "Where is the questioner?"The man replied, "Here I am, and I intended only good."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Good brings only good. Good brings only good. Good brings only good. But this world is green and sweet. Whatever the spring season causes to grow kills by overeating or comes close to killing, except for the grazing animal that eats the green plants. It eats until its flanks are full, then it faces the sun and passes its dung and urine, and then returns to eat again. So whoever takes wealth in its rightful way will be blessed in it, and whoever takes it unjustly will not be blessed in it, and he will be like one who eats but is never satisfied."Sufyan said, "Amash used to ask me about this hadith."

حدثنا سفيان عن ابن عجلان عن عياض بن عبد الله بن سعد بن أبي سرح

سمع أبا سعيد قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ وهو على المنبر إن أخوف ما أخاف عليكم ما يخرج الله من نبات الأرض وزهرة الدنيا فقال رجل أي رسول الله أو يأتي الخير بالشر فسكت حتى رأينا أنه ينزل عليه قال وغشيه بهر وعرق فقال أين السائل فقال ها أنا ولم أرد إلا خيرا فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن الخير لا يأتي إلا بالخير إن الخير لا يأتي إلا بالخير إن الخير لا يأتي إلا بالخير ولكن الدنيا خضرة حلوة وكان ما ينبت الربيع يقتل حبطا أو يلم إلا آكلة الخضر فإنها أكلت حتى امتدت خاصرتاها واستقبلت الشمس فثلطت وبالت ثم عادت فأكلت فمن أخذها بحقها بورك له فيه ومن أخذها بغير حقها لم يبارك له وكان كالذي يأكل ولا يشبع قال سفيان وكان الأعمش يسألني عن هذا الحديث
