The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled regarding the fetus of a woman from Banu Lahyan of Huzayl, which had fallen stillborn, that the compensation was a male or female slave. Then the woman against whom the slave had been awarded as compensation passed away, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that her inheritance went to her sons and her husband, and that the blood-money was the responsibility of her paternal male relatives.
