Saeed bin Musayab reported that Abu Hurairah said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave judgment concerning the fetus of a woman of Banu Lahyan from Huzayl, which was miscarried dead, that compensation of a slave, male or female, was due. Then the woman against whom he had ruled this compensation died, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that her inheritance belonged to her sons and her husband, and that the blood money was the responsibility of her male relatives on the father's side."Ishaq bin Isa reported to us that Layth told them, and Ibn Shihab told him, and he mentioned the same account, except that he said, "Then the woman against whom he had ruled this compensation died."
