The Prophet ﷺ said, "The soul of the son of Adam remains suspended by his debt until it is paid off on his behalf."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا زكريا بن أبي زائدة عن سعد بن إبراهيم عن أبي سلمة
عن النبي ﷺ قال لا تزال نفس ابن آدم معلقة بدينه حتى يقضى عنه
Its isnad is sahih. It occurred previously at 9642. Abu Mabad is Nafidh, the freedman of Ibn Abbas.
