Abu Haya reported,

I saw Ali performing ablution. He washed his hands until they were clean, then rinsed his mouth three times, sniffed water into his nose three times, washed his face three times, washed his forearms three times, wiped his head, and washed his feet up to the ankles. Then he took what remained of his ablution water and drank it while standing. He said, "I wanted to show you how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution."

عن أبي حية قال

رأيت عليا رضي الله عنه يتوضأ فغسل كفيه حتى أنقاهما ثم مضمض ثلاثا ثم استنشق ثلاثا وغسل وجهه ثلاثا وذراعيه ثلاثا ومسح برأسه وغسل قدميه إلى الكعبين وأخذ فضل طهوره فشرب وهو قائم ثم قال أحببت أن أريكم كيف كان طهور رسول الله ﷺ
