With this hadith, he said, "His gaze should not go beyond his gesture." The hadith of Hajjaj is more complete.

بهذا الحديث قال لا يجاوز بصره إشارته وحديث حجاج أتم
[Its isnad is hasan] Ahmad narrated it: 3/4, from Yahya Qattan through this route, and Ibn Ajlan explicitly stated that he heard it directly.
