It was mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ would point with his finger when supplicating without moving it.Ibn Jurayj said that Amr bin Dinar added, "Amir informed me from his father that he saw the Prophet ﷺ supplicating in this manner, and the Prophet ﷺ was leaning with his left hand upon his left thigh."
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai narrated it, in the chapter on inattentiveness, section on spreading the left hand over the knee, hadith 1271, from the hadith of Hajjaj bin Muhammad, with this wording. Ibn Ajlan was mentioned previously at hadith 902, and I did not find an explicit statement of his hearing the wording "and does not move it."
