The Prophet ﷺ would perform ablution with a vessel that held two ratls and bathe with a saa.
حدثنا محمد بن الصباح البزاز حدثنا شريك عن عبد الله بن عيسى عن عبد الله بن جبر
كان النبي ﷺ يتوضأ بإناء يسع رطلين ويغتسل بالصاع
[Sahih] Ahmad narrated it, 3/179, from the hadith of Sharik, with the same wording. Bukhari also narrated it, no. 201, and Muslim, no. 325, from the hadith of Masaar, from Abdullah bin Jabr, with the same wording. Muslim also narrated it from the hadith of Shubah, from Abdullah bin Jabr, with the same wording.
