Abu Zubayr informed me that he heard Tawsa say, "We asked Ibn Abbas about squatting on the heels during prostration."He replied, "It is the Sunnah."We said, "We consider it harsh on the feet."Ibn Abbas said, "It is the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ."

أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع طاوسا يقول قلنا لابن عباس في الإقعاء على القدمين في السجود فقال هي السنة قال قلنا إنا لنراه جفاء بالرجل فقال ابن عباس هي سنة نبيك ﷺ
