A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, my mount has collapsed under me, so provide me with a mount."He replied, "I have nothing to carry you on, but go to so-and-so, perhaps he will provide you with one."So the man went to him, and he gave him a mount. He then came back to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever guides someone to good will have a reward like that of the one who does it."
حدثنا محمد بن كثير أخبرنا سفيان عن الأعمش عن أبي عمرو الشيباني
جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إني أبدع بي فاحملني قال لا أجد ما أحملك عليه ولكن ائت فلانا فلعله أن يحملك فأتاه فحمله فأتى رسول الله ﷺ فأخبره فقال رسول الله ﷺ من دل على خير فله مثل أجر فاعله
The beginning of the Book of MannersReference: Muslim narrated it in the Book of Leadership, Chapter on the merit of helping a fighter in the cause of Allah with a mount or otherwise, and looking after his family well in his absence, hadith 1893, from the report of Sufyan, through this chain.
