The Prophet ﷺ said, "Your love for something makes you blind and deaf."
حدثنا حيوة بن شريح حدثنا بقية عن أبي بكر بن أبي مريم عن خالد بن محمد الثقفي عن بلال بن أبي الدرداء
عن النبي ﷺ قال حبك الشيء يعمي ويصم
[Its isnad is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 5/194, from the hadith of Abu Bakr bin Abu Maryam, and he is daif, for his house had been robbed and his mind became confused, as stated in Taqrib and elsewhere.
