The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. A man keeps lying and pursuing lies until he is recorded with Allah as a liar.Hold fast to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man keeps speaking the truth and pursuing truth until he is recorded with Allah as truthful."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا وكيع أخبرنا الأعمش ح و حدثنا مسدد حدثنا عبد الله بن داود حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي وائل
قال رسول الله ﷺ إياكم والكذب فإن الكذب يهدي إلى الفجور وإن الفجور يهدي إلى النار وإن الرجل ليكذب ويتحرى الكذب حتى يكتب عند الله كذابا وعليكم بالصدق فإن الصدق يهدي إلى البر وإن البر يهدي إلى الجنة وإن الرجل ليصدق ويتحرى الصدق حتى يكتب عند الله صديقا
