There was a panic in Madinah, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rode a horse belonging to Abu Talha. He said, "We saw nothing," or "We found no cause for panic, and we found this horse to be like a sea."
حدثنا عمرو بن مرزوق أخبرنا شعبة عن قتادة
كان فزع بالمدينة فركب رسول الله ﷺ فرسا لأبي طلحة فقال ما رأينا شيئا أو ما رأينا من فزع وإن وجدناه لبحرا
Bukhari narrated it in "The Book of Gifts and Their Merit and Encouragement Toward Them," chapter "Whoever borrows a horse from people," no. 2627, and Muslim narrated it in "The Book of Virtues," chapter "His courage," no. 2307, from the hadith of Shubah through this same chain.
