Two men exchanged insults in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and one of them began to redden in the eyes and his neck veins started to swell. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I know a phrase which, if he were to say it, what he is feeling would leave him. If he said, 'I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan,' what he is feeling would leave him."The man replied, "Do you think I am mad?"

استب رجلان عند النبي ﷺ فجعل أحدهما تحمر عيناه وتنتفخ أوداجه فقال رسول الله ﷺ إني لأعرف كلمة لو قالها هذا لذهب عنه الذي يجد أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم فقال الرجل هل ترى بي من جنون
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Righteousness and Kindness to Relatives, in the chapter on the merit of one who controls himself when angry, etc., hadith no. 2610, from the hadith of Abu Muawiya Dareer.
