The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, "When one of you becomes angry while standing, let him sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and good. Otherwise, let him lie down."

إن رسول الله ﷺ قال لنا إذا غضب أحدكم وهو قائم فليجلس فإن ذهب عنه الغضب وإلا فليضطجع
