A group from the tribe of Ukl, or he said from Urayna, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and found the climate of Madinah unhealthy. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that some milk-camels be provided for them, and instructed them to drink from their urine and milk. They went out, and when they had recovered, they killed the shepherd of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and drove off the camels.News of them reached the Prophet ﷺ early in the day, so he sent men to track them, and before the day had grown long, they were brought back. He gave orders concerning them, and their hands and feet were cut off, their eyes were branded with hot iron, and they were cast onto the lava field, where they begged for water but were given none.Abu Qilaba said, "These were people who stole, killed, disbelieved after their faith, and waged war against Allah and His Messenger."
