I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever among you sees an evil and is able to change it with his hand, let him change it with his hand."Hannad cut off the rest of the hadith here, but Ibn Ala completed it, "And if he is unable, then with his tongue, and if he is unable with his tongue, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith."
Muslim narrated it in "The Book of Faith," chapter "Explanation that forbidding wrongdoing is part of faith... etc.," hadith no. 49, from Muhammad bin Ala Abu Kurayb through this chain.
