The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the woman who adds hair extensions and the woman who has them added, and the woman who tattoos and the woman who has herself tattooed.
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل ومسدد قالا حدثنا يحيى عن عبيد الله قال حدثني نافع
لعن رسول الله ﷺ الواصلة والمستوصلة والواشمة والمستوشمة
Bukhari narrated it in "Clothing," chapter "One Who Gets Tattooed," Hadith 5947, from Musaddad, and Muslim narrated it in "Clothing," chapter "The Prohibition of a Woman Adding False Hair or Having It Added, etc.," Hadith 2124, from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Qattan, through this same chain.
