The Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved to begin with the right side whenever possible in all his affairs, in his purification, in combing his hair, and in putting on his sandals.Muslim added, "and in using the toothstick," but did not mention "in all his affairs."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Wudu, chapter on beginning with the right side in wudu and ghusl, hadith no. 168, from Hafs bin Umar, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Purification, chapter on beginning with the right side in purification and otherwise, hadith no. 268, from the hadith of Shubah, through this same chain.
