The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you put on clothes and when you perform ablution, begin with your right side."
حدثنا النفيلي حدثنا زهير حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا لبستم وإذا توضأتم فابدءوا بأيامنكم
[Its isnad is daif]. Ibn Majah reported it in the Book of Purification, the chapter on beginning with the right side in wudu, hadith 402, from Nufayli, with this wording. Amash used "an" narration in this wording. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih with the wording "with his right side," hadith 178, and its chain is sahih, as did Ibn Hibban, hadith 147, 1452.
