We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw on our mounts and our camels saddle-cloths containing strands of red wool.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do I not see this redness has overtaken you?"We sprang up quickly at the words of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so much so that some of our camels bolted, and we seized the saddle-cloths and pulled them off.
حدثنا محمد بن العلاء أخبرنا أبو أسامة عن الوليد يعني ابن كثير عن محمد بن عمرو بن عطاء عن رجل من بني حارثة
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ في سفر فرأى رسول الله ﷺ على رواحلنا وعلى إبلنا أكسية فيها خيوط عهن حمر فقال رسول الله ﷺ ألا أرى هذه الحمرة قد علتكم فقمنا سراعا لقول رسول الله ﷺ حتى نفر بعض إبلنا فأخذنا الأكسية فنزعناها عنها
Takhrij, its chain is daif. Ahmad narrated it, 3/46, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr bin Ata, with the same wording.A man from Banu Haritha is unknown, as Munziri said.
