A man wearing two red garments passed by the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him, but the Prophet ﷺ did not return his greeting.
حدثنا محمد بن حزابة حدثنا إسحق يعني ابن منصور حدثنا إسرائيل عن أبي يحيى عن مجاهد
مر على النبي ﷺ رجل عليه ثوبان أحمران فسلم عليه فلم يرد عليه النبي ﷺ
[Its chain is daif] Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Manners, chapter on what has been said regarding the dislike of men wearing safflower-dyed clothing and qassi cloth, hadith no. 2807, from the hadith of Ishaq bin Mansur, with this wording, and he said, hasan gharib.Ahmad said regarding Abu Yahya al-Qattat, "Israil narrated many objectionable hadiths from him, but the hadith of Sufyan from him is close to sound."
