The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only forbade garments made entirely of silk. As for silk trim on a garment or silk used as the warp threads of cloth, there is no harm in it.
حدثنا ابن نفيل حدثنا زهير حدثنا خصيف عن عكرمة
إنما نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الثوب المصمت من الحرير فأما العلم من الحرير وسدى الثوب فلا بأس به
Sourcing, its chain of transmission is daif. Ahmad narrated it, 218/1, from the hadith of Khaseef, and he is daif, as already mentioned, no. 1028. Despite this, Ibn Mulaqqin graded it sahih in Tuhfat al-Muhtaj, 681.Ahmad, 313/1, and Atraf Musnad, 3/95, narrated with a sahih chain of transmission from Ibn Abbas, who said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only forbade garments made entirely of silk."
