I saw Ibn Umar in the market. He bought a Syrian garment, but when he noticed a red thread in it, he returned it. So I went to Asma and mentioned this to her.She said, "Jariya, hand me the cloak of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."She brought out a tayalisi cloak whose neck opening, sleeves, and side slits were trimmed with brocade.

رأيت ابن عمر في السوق اشترى ثوبا شأميا فرأى فيه خيطا أحمر فرده فأتيت أسماء فذكرت ذلك لها فقالت يا جارية ناوليني جبة رسول الله ﷺ فأخرجت جبة طيالسة مكفوفة الجيب والكمين والفرجين بالديباج
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Clothing, Chapter on the Permission for a Woven Marking on a Garment, no. 3594, from the hadith of Mughira bin Ziyad, as mentioned before, his status was discussed at no. 3416, and its basic content is found in Muslim, no. 2069.
