By Allah, another oath, he did not lie to me when he said that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There will surely be among my nation people who will deem permissible khazz, silk," and he mentioned more words, "and others among them will be transformed into monkeys and pigs until the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن نجدة حدثنا بشر بن بكر عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن جابر قال حدثنا عطية بن قيس قال سمعت عبد الرحمن بن غنم الأشعري قال
والله يمين أخرى ما كذبني أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول ليكونن من أمتي أقوام يستحلون الخز والحرير وذكر كلاما قال يمسخ منهم آخرون قردة وخنازير إلى يوم القيامة
[Its isnad is sahih]. Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Drinks, chapter on those who deem wine permissible while calling it by another name, hadith no. 5590, from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir through this same route.
